Bio

I was always creative, but never believed I’d actually become an artist. In one way or another traveling helped me believe you can do anything you set your mind to. My career started as an Event planner and back then, the event was my canvas. I loved everything about creating and bringing people together but not so much working in the corporate world. After graduating Uni and five years working within the industry I decided to let it all go to pursue my dream to travel as much of the world as possible.

There is something truly liberating about leaving everything you know and have worked towards behind, just setting off into the unknown to discover and experience the world on your own terms. My travels have since led me to India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Indonesia & Europe and for now, Costa Rica.

My somewhat wanderlust lifestyle helped me to embrace the creative life and allowed me to consistently learn and practice developing my artistic skills, mostly sketching and writing about what I see, feel and experience; using photography as my main mode of capture and expression. Today, my eclectic collection of travel photographs are a huge source of my inspiration for my artwork.

In a world that often leaves us feeling busy and disconnected, travel emerges as a powerful antidote, capable of inspiring positive social and environmental change. When we step outside of our norm and immerse ourselves in diverse cultures, we not only broaden our horizons but also cultivate empathy, understanding, and a deeper appreciation for our shared humanity.

Travel encourages meaningful connections and dialogue between different communities, allowing us to witness firsthand the challenges of others. This engagement can ignite awareness around social issues—be it environmental conservation, cultural preservation, or socioeconomic disparities—empowering travelers to become advocates for change in their own lives and beyond.

As an artist, I aspire to harness the transformative power of travel through my work. My goal is to inspire more people to embark on their own journeys, by exploring the rich tapestry of cultures that our world has to offer, and to embrace the beauty of our shared existence.

By inviting others to see the world through my eyes, I hope to not only celebrate the diversity of human experience but also promote a greater sense of responsibility toward each other and our environment. Together, let’s embark on a journey of discovery that enriches our lives and fuels the positive change our world so desperately needs.

My intention is to continue creating murals and collaborating with individuals and companies that align with my purpose. In addition, over the past year I have been working on expanding my small biz onto canvas, offering prints of select pieces and on pre-order only, allowing me to continue thrive and strive towards reaching all my goals.

My painting subjects are ever changing and can be quite moody, often starting off with an abstract background, allowing the colour and creativity to just flow through me and onto the canvas.  Living in the rainforest and connecting with nature the last few years has deeply contributed to my style and vast body of work, most recently inspiring an ongoing collection of botanical and figurative original artworks, combining both realism and abstract elements to each piece.

If any of the above resonates with you, pop over to my contact page and get in touch. I’m always looking to collaborate with like minded people. Let’s get creative and make some magic happen.

This is my passion, my bliss, and my creative journey – to which I am truly dedicated and I thank you for coming along for the ride.
